Warehouse/Shipping Specialist

Our client, a reputable and successful ecommerce business, is currently seeking multiple Warehouse Specialists to join their team. As a leading player in their field, our client is committed to maintaining excellence in their operations and providing a positive working environment for their employees.  Schedule is currently Monday-Friday 8am-430pm but will move to 6am-430pm 4 days week which may include Sunday.  

Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming products to ensure quality and completeness according to established standards.
• Accurately label barcodes and/or bag bulk products for retail sales, following precise guidelines.
• Utilize various equipment such as counting scales and label printers to facilitate efficient warehouse operations.
• Safely handle items weighing up to 70 pounds, ensuring proper lifting techniques are employed.
• Pick products for customer orders with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Follow packing procedures meticulously to ensure orders are shipped on time.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels by replenishing inventory locations as required.
• Take proactive measures to uphold cleanliness and organization within the warehouse environment.
• Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
• Utilize basic mathematical skills for tasks such as counting and labeling accurately.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in warehouse operations or a related field is preferred.
• Availability to work Sundays and four 10-hour shifts per week as required by the schedule.
• Strong work ethic with a focus on reliability, attendance, and punctuality.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work harmoniously within a team environment.
• Physical capability to lift and move heavy items and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate changing priorities and responsibilities.
