Express Employment Professionals is hiring on behalf of our client located in Vauxhall. They are an established seed cleaning/pea processing facility. We are looking for one (1) Maintenance Worker to join the team.
Job Description:
- Perform day to day maintenance in all areas of operation.
- Assistance in all areas of operation, when required.
- Fill out and maintain all applicable documents and forms, ensure they are properly stored.
- Responsible for keeping the work area clean, as needed.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Class 5 License w/ reliable transportation.
- Class 1 License, an asset.
- Able to pass criminal background check, upon hire.
- Must demonstrate safe work practices.
- Must possess excellent communication skills.
- Able to lift 50lbs or more, when needed.
- Must be comfortable working both outdoors, and indoors.
- General knowledge of seed cleaning equipment.
- Understanding of electric and gas-powered motors, augers, and conveyer belts. Experience working with these, an asset.
- Forklift and skid steer operation, and maintenance
- WHMIS, Food Safety, Fire Safety knowledge, an asset. Will train on site.
