FULL-TIME/LONG-TERM/EVALUATION HIRE

$43,000-$46,000/ HR

2PM-10PM Monday - Friday

 

Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing and recruiting firm, is currently hiring for a Warehouse Supervisor for a local client in Baton Rouge.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for Warehouse Supervisor:  

  • Oversee employees in the warehouse, manage 6 employees 
  • Lead by example, train new and existing staff on processes and procedures
  • Assist in material handling by hand and forklift
  • Paperwork flow management and other office duties as needed
  • Oversee and ensure that safe operating conditions are in place for all employees

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Min 1 yr management experience
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Excellent leadership and training skills
  • Dependable and Safety Minded
  • Must be Sociable and people oriented 
  • Organization skills
  • Forklift experience required, certification a plus
  • Overhead crane experience is a PLUS
  • Working knowledge using measuring tapes
