Job Overview:

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman to join a growing team in Lubbock, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating precise technical drawings using AutoCAD for construction, engineering, and manufacturing projects. This role requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to interpret complex design documents into accurate 2D and 3D models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create technical drawings using AutoCAD software (2D and 3D)
• Interpret sketches, specifications, and design documentation
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and design teams to meet project needs
• Ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards and codes
• Revise and update existing drawings as project requirements evolve
• Organize and maintain digital and physical drawing files

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
• Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and conventions
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
