We have an opening for a Paintline Utility position working at a contract manufacturing facility located in Decatur, AL. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with potential for full-time placement.
Skills/Qualifications
No prior experience required.
A minimum 10th grade education is required.
Must have a working command of the English language and be able to communicate orally and in writing.
Ability to wear a respirator and be certified by physician.
Ability to work with chemicals, solvents and lubricants.
Ability to lift 40 lb. unassisted.
Ability to arrive at work on time on a consistent basis.
Duties/Responsibilities
Pick up parts from pallet, extend arms up to reach paint line hooks and hang parts on the paint line.
Visually inspect painted parts for adequate paint coverage and damage.
Remove painted parts from paint line and stack onto a pallet.
Update computer records and paperwork in accordance with production requirements.
Maintain work area in clean orderly condition, perform preventative maintenance and follow prescribed safety procedures.
Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.
Perform job duties in an efficient and responsible manner.
