An office equipment supply company in Boardman is looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to join their team!

Summary: The Field Service Technician (FST) is responsible for repairing and maintaining office equipment, ensuring client satisfaction at assigned accounts, and occasionally supporting additional clients. Duties include on-site repairs at customer locations, in-house work at the home office, and customer training for network implementation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance for assigned accounts, targeting 100% client satisfaction
• Discuss repair needs with clients and interpret their requirements effectively
• Complete assigned technical training courses
• Meet performance appraisal standards
• Attend required meetings and safeguard company property
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct
• Assist sales team as needed and maintain technical proficiency
• Call ahead to customers and manage car-stock inventory
• Submit weekly mileage sheets and maintain technical literature
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management or supervisor

Qualifications:

• Preferred: 1+ year of industry experience with Ricoh, Brother, or HP products in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of printing/copying equipment
• Applicable related field experience (or military equivalent) is a plus
• Strong customer service/communication skills, work ethic, and commitment to client relations
• Must pass a criminal background check, have reliable transportation with the ability to drive in all weather conditions, valid insurance, and a good driving record

• Starting salary: $20.00 - $24.00/hour, adjustable based on experience and certifications
