HVAC Building Maintenance Technician
Hours: 7:00AM - 4:00PM, Monday-Friday
Compensation: DOE
Currently looking for a HVAC Building Maintenance Technician for IT Management Department. The right candidate will perform routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures to Corporate Office in Arlington, TX and another location in Fort Worth, TX.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Perform routine, repetitive daily inspections and maintenance necessary to the buildings HVAC equipment.
Assists and completes semiskilled tasks of a general nature in connection with the maintenance, repair and construction tasks in the upkeep of the buildings.
Assists and performs installation, maintenance, repair and construction work in the basic building maintenance trades such as carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith, carpet, and mechanics.
Assists and performs functions in the construction, installation and maintenance of roofs, furniture, fences, cabinets, shelving, marker board/chalkboards, tack boards and a variety of other structures and items.
Inspects properties and communicates with management regarding proper grounds keeping and general cleanup and maintenance.
Ensure disposal areas are kept clean and in safe conditions.
Performs custodial duties as required.
Maintains accurate records of preventative maintenance schedules and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets)
Facilitates weekly safety checks to ensure a safe and clean environment for the patrons of the facility and eliminate all hazards.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
3-5 years of experience in commercial HVAC, preferably with VRF
Other Qualifications:
Must have a vehicle, a valid drivers license and be willing to travel.
One-year experience as a semi-skilled worker in one or more of the basic building maintenance trades and/or one-year experience in a warehouse distribution operation
Knowledge of manual and electrical hand tools
Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include off-shift hours and weekend assignments
Must be able to operate a forklift, light truck and other related motorized equipment
