Work Schedule: 1st shift, 6:30am-2:45pm, Monday-Friday

Job Overview: Express Employment Professionals is seeking Material Handlers for a local manufacturing company in York, SC. This role involves managing the flow and storage of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring efficient processing and handling.

Key Responsibilities: Material Handler

• Understand product flow and processing systems, and know the locations of all storage areas
• Identify all raw materials and finished goods
• Perform material handling tasks
• Complete picking tickets as required
• Palletize and stage products according to procedures
• Perform shipping and receiving clerical tasks as needed
• Prepare and complete outbound orders (pick, label, build pallet, wrap)
• Load and unload raw materials and finished goods according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Perform daily maintenance and upkeep of forklift equipment

Qualifications: Material Handler

• Familiarity with product flow and processing systems
• Ability to identify raw materials and finished goods
• Experience with material handling tasks
• Proficiency in completing picking tickets and performing shipping/receiving tasks
• Ability to palletize and stage products
• Experience with forklift operation and maintenance
