Production Welder (MIG/Arc) - 1st Shift

$18.00/Hour | Monday-Friday | 7:15 AM to 4:00 PM

Are you an experienced MIG/Arc Welder looking for a steady first-shift opportunity? We are seeking a skilled Production Welder to join a local manufacturing team. This is a temporary assignment expected to last several months while a valued employee is on medical leave.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and Arc welding on production components and assemblies
• Cut, prepare, and fit metal parts for welding
• Fabricate and assemble welding sub-assemblies according to specifications
• Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality standards are met
• Operate welding and metal-cutting equipment safely
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Qualifications

• Previous MIG and Arc welding experience required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read measuring devices and basic blueprints
• Experience with metal fabrication and parts preparation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
