Job Summary: 

 We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various heavy equipment, including crushers, draglines, loaders, and other machinery. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Repair and replace defective parts, components, and systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and equipment availability.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
• Operate and test equipment to verify repairs.
• Keep work area clean and organized.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in heavy equipment mechanics preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with crushers, draglines, loaders, and other heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of diesel, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions and lift heavy objects.
