1st shift Material Handler

Located in Pontiac, MI

Salary: $18.50 per hour

We have partnered with company that is a Automotive Manufacturing, Automotive Engineering, Off-Highway Vehicles, and Vehicle design.

Summary:

We are looking for a 1st shift Material Handler.  HS Diploma or GED. Demonstrates competency operating 51K forklift, with 2+ years’ experience. Have 1 year of previous assembler experience on a production floor. Previous experience in a manufacturing operations environment preferred.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• It would be beneficial for them to have plex, hi-lo and container unloading experience, and willing to train.
• Load or unload trucks and verify the accuracy of items on demand
• Work involves physical demands typically found in a manufacturing environment, such as but not limited to prolonged standing, bending, lifting, and/or moving materials
• Moving and storage of finished goods and raw materials, as well as loading products per customer orders  
• Follow directions from the Production Manager for daily operations
• Maintain clean and orderly warehouse
• Remove finished goods or raw materials from or to production lines and place in warehouse or production
• Unloading containers with large or heavy loads
• Feeding and staging production line
• Responsible for maintaining forklift equipment

Schedule:  Monday - Friday 06:00am - 02:30pm
