Press Break Operator: $24.00-$28.50 per hour

Schedule: 

Monday-Thursday,  3 PM-4:30 AM

Express in Tualatin, OR, is currently recruiting for a Press Brake Operator for an immediate opening. The role will include operating and maintaining a press brake on various machinery. Safety is the number one priority for this company, so ideal candidates will have a record of safety work habits and an excellent eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

• Operate press brake machine.
• Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches.
• Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions and blueprints.
• Checks height, depth and thickness using micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauges, and other precision-measuring instruments.
• Perform complex programming using all features of the press brake.
• Work with tight tolerances.
• Produce parts for assembly operations.
• Meet customer specifications and delivery requirements.
• Perform spot inspections of parts.
• Complete and maintain paperwork.
• Identify assembly parts.

What we look for:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 Years Experience as a Press Brake Operator
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift 25lbs consistently, and 50lbs as needed.

Duties:

• Lays out or details layout on work stock from blueprints or templates.
• Plans the sequence of operations, applying knowledge of the physical properties of metal.
• Working well with others, with a limited amount of supervision.
• Setting up and operating several types of hydraulic press brakes.
• Setting up and operating notches, rolls, and hardware machines.
