Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant for a local company in Tyler TX! We are a full-service staffing firm working with companies in East Texas that offer full-time, part-time, and temporary positions. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative and legal support including document preparation, legal research, and correspondence.
• Assist in trial preparation for cases that may involve medical malpractice, defense, or plaintiff's work.
• Coordinate and manage case files, ensuring all materials are accurately organized and up-to-date.
• Help manage trial logistics, including coordinating travel and accommodations for trials in Dallas, Houston, and other locations as necessary.
• Manage client communication and ensure timely follow-up on case status and related matters.

Qualifications:

• Required: 2-3 years of legal assistant experience, with preference given to candidates with plaintiff’s work, medical malpractice, or defense experience.
• A proactive and solution-oriented attitude; able to work under tight deadlines and in high-stress situations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong proficiency with legal research and case management software.
• Willingness to travel for trial preparation and appearances as necessary.
