Pre-Press Technician

Express Employment Professionals of Ames, IA has partnered with a local Nevada, IA company seeking a Pre-Press Technician to join their team! This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with a pay rate starting at 17/hr. 

The ideal candidate should demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness, and orderliness in performing work assignments, while striving for perfection and showing professional concern for quality of work.

Environment: 

• This is an family-oriented, industrial printing environment
• This is a Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00am-5:00pm (Flexible hours)
• With this position, attire will be casual clothes with closed-toed shoes

Duties: 

• Taking the customers designs/logos and manipulating them to fit the plates for printing
• Ensuring the design fits the plates and prints correctly
• Matching colors, moving text
• General office and computer work

Skills/Experience Needed: 

• Must have basic math and writing skills
• Detail-oriented and memorization skills
• Prior software experience (CAD) is preferred
