Looking for a steady welding job with great hours and local work? A well-established company in the Anderson area is hiring a MIG Welder to repair and modify industrial storage racks. If you enjoy hands-on work, reading blueprints, and taking pride in quality welds, this could be a great fit.
Repair and modify industrial metal racks
Set up and operate MIG welding equipment
Read blueprints and weld assemblies to meet customer standards
Assess returned racks and provide details for repair/modification quotes
Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure them for welding
Perform final inspections and make spot repairs as needed
Accurately record materials, quantities, and labor time
Safely operate a forklift to move materials
Travel occasionally to customer sites for on-site repairs
Follow all safety rules, procedures, and quality standards
Perform other duties as assigned
$17–$19 per hour (based on experience)
Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Fridays: HALF DAY! 🎉
Weekends off
Welding experience (MIG preferred)
Ability to read blueprints and weld specs
Comfortable working with hand tools and welding equipment
Forklift experience is a plus
Willingness to travel occasionally
Strong attention to detail and safety
Consistent hours & predictable schedule
Early mornings = afternoons free
