Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Mechanical Layout/Plumber for a growing manufacturing company in the Flathead Valley.

Position: Mechanical Layout / Plumber (Assembly Technician)

Pay: $22/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Location: Flathead Valley

What You’ll Do

• Build sub‑assemblies for fluid management systems on Solstice platforms
• Position and install valves, pumps, and mechanical components
• Bend, route, and place PFA tubing according to engineering fluid‑flow diagrams
• Install pneumatic lines to and from pneumatic valves
• Read engineering drawings, schematics, and P&ID diagrams
• Report weekly progress to the Production Manager
• Provide feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement
• Support production processes with hands‑on mechanical assembly

What You Bring

• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools
• Ability to read engineering drawings and fluid‑flow schematics
• Familiarity with mechanical systems and fluid flow
• Good hand‑eye coordination and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Experience

• 2+ years building or assembling mechanical systems
• Semiconductor support equipment experience preferred but not required
• Assembly, plumbing, or mechanical technician experience transferable

Qualities

• Sense of urgency and commitment to meeting production schedules
• Team‑oriented with strong peer accountability
• Positive attitude and commitment to a safe work environment
• High level of trustworthiness and professionalism

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent bending, twisting, and working with tools
