HVAC Technician

Located in York, PA

Salary: $18.00 to $26.00/hr DOE

Hours: 7am-3:30/4pm or until finished depending on the job

Position: HVAC Technician

Position Summary

 

Experienced and certified HVAC Technician responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and the ability to diagnose and resolve HVAC issues efficiently.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
• Test system performance and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and HVAC testing equipment.
• Maintain accurate service records and document completed work.
• Follow all safety procedures, building codes, and applicable regulations.
• Provide professional customer service and communicate issues and repairs clearly.

 

Qualifications

• HVAC certification required.
• Previous hands-on HVAC experience required.
• Strong knowledge of heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

 

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in various positions.
• Ability to lift and carry HVAC tools, equipment, and materials.
• Comfortable working indoors, outdoors, and in confined or elevated spaces.
