Position- General labor

Pay Rate- $18-20/hr

 

Definition:  "Core”.  A round closed end steel tube of varying diameters and lengths.

Job Description: 

1. Utilizing a crane and hoist, set a core from supply rack onto work station.
2. Inspect core for cracks and dents.
3. Follow established guidelines for inspection procedures.
4. Inspect for weld damage on each end of the core.
5. Inspect the receiver for damage on each end of the core.
6. Scrap or reject unrepairable cores per guidelines prior to scraping.
7. Utilizing a 4-inch razor scraping tool, remove all foreign materials and adhesives from the core surface.
8. Upon completion of the cleaning process, using the crane and hoist, move the cleaned core to a receiving rack. Cleaned cores will be set aside and used in the next steps of the repair process.
9. Repeat the process
