Construction Worker

Located in Delray Beach, FL

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Construction Workers to join our team. The successful candidate will perform various tasks associated with construction projects, including site preparation, equipment operation, material handling, and general labor. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and the ability to work well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform physical labor on construction sites, such as digging, lifting, carrying, and assembling materials.
• Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of scaffolding, barricades, and temporary structures.
• Load and unload construction materials and equipment from vehicles.
• Prepare and clean construction sites, removing debris and ensuring they are safe and organized.
• Follow blueprints, instructions, and safety guidelines as supervisors or project managers directed.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on schedule and within quality standards.
• Report any hazards, incidents, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Perform additional tasks as required to meet project needs.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction or a similar labor-intensive role is preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods and in various weather conditions.
• Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and regulations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for some positions.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs or more) repeatedly.
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, or outdoors for extended periods.
• Stamina and physical fitness to perform strenuous activities throughout the workday.

Work Environment:

• Construction sites may include uneven terrain, noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
• Work hours may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, or overtime, depending on project schedules.
