A manufacturing company in Youngstown is looking for experienced Burn Table Operators to join their production team.

Position Summary: A Burn Table Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining burn tables (CNC plasma or oxy-fuel cutting machines) to cut and shape metal materials according to precise specifications. This role involves reading blueprints, setting up equipment, monitoring cutting processes, and ensuring quality standards are met. Attention to detail, technical skills, and adherence to safety protocols are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, program, and operate burn tables (CNC plasma/oxy-fuel cutting machines)
• Load and unload raw materials and finished products using forklifts, cranes, or other material-handling equipment
• Adjust machine settings to achieve optimal cutting performance for various materials and thicknesses
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine cutting patterns and dimensions
• Ensure cuts meet precise measurements and tolerances
• Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and compliance with project specifications
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure proper functionality
• Replace worn or damaged components such as nozzles, electrodes, and consumables
• Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Adhere to company policies and OSHA standards

Qualifications:

• Must have previous experience operating CNC plasma or oxy-fuel cutting machines 
• Proficiency in operating CNC equipment and understanding G-code/M-code
• Familiarity with metal types (steel, aluminum, etc.) and their properties
• Ability to use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Must be available to work any shift

Pay Rate: 20+/hour based on experience
