2^nd shift Maintenance Mechanic

 

Express Employment Professionals – St. Paul, MN is assisting a small juice company to fill a Maintenance Mechanic on their team. Position is located in the St Paul area.

 

Pay: $29 – 35/hour DOE

 

Schedule:   2^nd Shift Monday – Friday 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM (need flexibility with schedule)

 

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance tasks such as lubricating parts, cleaning machinery, and inspecting for wear and tear.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues with equipment
  • Implement Lock Out Tag Out procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to optimize production and minimize downtime.
  • Document and maintain records of repairs, calibrations, and tests.
  • Recommend improvements to maintenance policies and procedures.

Skills & Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanic in the manufacturing industry. Food industry experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Extensive knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Experience in equipment calibration.
  • Proficient understanding of electrical systems.
  • Proven track record of equipment maintenance.
  • Familiarity with Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
  • Knowledge of motors and conveyors.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
  • Relevant certification or diploma in a related field is preferred.
