Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm

Duties:

Set up and operate CNC vertical machining centers (VMCs), CNC lathes, CNC mills, and manual mills.
Read and interpret digital blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions to produce quality parts.
Select tooling, perform machine setups, and make adjustments to ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances.
Produce primarily small aluminum components while maintaining production and quality standards.
Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools to verify dimensional accuracy.
Load and unload materials, fixtures, and vises, including manual vises weighing up to 70-80 lbs.
Troubleshoot machining issues and make process improvements to maximize efficiency and quality.
Monitor machine performance and maintain accurate production records.
Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to team members as needed.
Promote a positive, team-oriented environment focused on continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining experience required.
Supervisory, lead, or training experience preferred.
Experience operating and setting up VMCs, CNC lathes, CNC mills, and manual mills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Strong understanding of machine setup, tool selection, offsets, and quality inspection procedures.
Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to continuous improvement.
Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Commitment to producing quality workmanship while meeting production goals.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 80 lbs. as required.
