As part of our growing team, we seek a proactive and detail-oriented Employment Specialist to support our recruitment and HR operations. This is an entry-level opportunity.

Recruitment & Candidate Management:

• Assist in sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for various roles.
• Manage job postings across various platforms, ensuring accuracy and visibility.
• Maintain and update candidate databases with relevant information.
• Conduct reference checks and pre-employment verifications as needed.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and clients.
• Effective communication and technical writing skills are required.
• Ability to ensure net assignment gains weekly while meeting deadlines.

HR Administration:

• Support onboarding processes, including paperwork, orientation, and training coordination.
• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all legal and company requirements.
• Assist with HR-related tasks, work authorization documents, and respond to employee inquiries.

Client & Team Support:

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients to understand their staffing needs.
• Provide administrative support to the HR, sales, and recruitment teams, including preparing reports and presentations.
• Coordinate job fairs, networking events, and other talent acquisition initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma, an associate degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years in recruitment, HR, or a related role; staffing firm experience is a plus.
• Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and professional phone presence.
  • Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail and positive demeanor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR/recruitment software (e.g., ATS systems).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications: SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certifications are an advantage but not required.
