Supervisor

Located in Virginia Beach, VA

Salary: $17/hour

Looking for someone with some Supervisory experience. 

 

This list is not inclusive, other duties may be assigned as needed for the good order and function of the store. 

• Strong knowledge of and experience in cash register operations.
• Strong knowledge of and experience in store operations such as floor organization, display, pricing, markdown, furniture.
• Responsible for the supervisory control of cashiers/sales floor associates.
• Supervise cashiers as they deal with customers and their transactions.
• Supervise the opening and closing of cash drawers/tills, preparation of cashier worksheets, balancing and securing the monies, preparation of Daily Sales Reports.
• Evaluate the performance of employees and complete any necessary paperwork including counseling statements with the Store Manager.
• Develop the plan of the day, week with the Store Manager.
• Train new sales floor employees with the Store Manager.
• Be the role model for customer service in the store.
• Enforce workplace policies, procedures and safety/hazard practices.
