Test Technician

Located in Ames, IA

Salary: $18

Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a local Ames manufacturing company seeking additional Testing Technicians! This position starts at $17/hr and is is a full-time, long-term position. 

Environment: 

• This is a 1st shift schedule, Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
• Casual clothes are preferred, will be working in a warehouse environment

Duties: 

• Visually inspect incoming materials for holes, cracks, or other imperfections
• Conduct high voltage testing of new and used linemen's gloves, sleeves, and blankets to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Stamp/ Apply inspection labels
• Checking electrician and lineman materials for testing

Skills/Experience Required: 

• Must be detail-oriented and comfortable working with numbers
• MUST have prior quality control experience
• Prior manufacturing experience is preferred!
