Salary: $28-$33/hour

An Edmonton client is seeking a Payroll Admin to join their team.

Payroll Admin Highlights:

• Review and maintain payroll processes, performing validations to ensure accuracy
• Prepare and reconcile payroll data for processing within the payroll system
• Run payroll reports, conduct data analysis, and support payroll-related audits
• Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and managers with a high level of customer service
• Assist with payroll controls, compliance reporting, and auditing payroll items
• Support Payroll Leaders with special projects, ad hoc requests, quarterly reviews, and year-end audits

Requirements:

• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build positive relationships
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data review
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Effective organization and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, large datasets, Power Query)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
• Previous experience in payroll, payroll administration, or a related role
• Experience working with large datasets and data management tools

Hours & Wage:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• $28 – $33/hour
• Start Date: ASAP
