Job Summary

As a Welder Fabricator, you’ll be a vital part of our production team. Using various techniques, you will fabricate and assemble metal components according to detailed specifications while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabrication & Welding: Use skills to lay out, cut, fit, and weld metals to create complex components, ensuring they meet required shapes and standards.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret assembly drawings, blueprints, and schematics for project designs.
• Quality & Compliance: Conduct regular testing of welds for durability and compliance with standards.
• Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment, identifying repairs and replacements as needed.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a team to accomplish project goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

Required

1. Technical Skills:
   • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
   • Knowledge of various welding techniques, including MIG, brazing, and cutting processes.
   • Proficiency in using welding and fabrication tools, including electric welders, torches, laser levels, and hydraulic jacks.
   • Familiarity with joint types (fillet, butt, edge) and appropriate filler metals for ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
2. Educational Background: High School Diploma or equivalent.
3. Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Preferred

• Certification in welding or a related field.
• Experience with laser cutting table operation and troubleshooting.
