A manufacturing company is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to oversee our accounts receivable operations. In this role, you will manage a high volume of billing processes and ensure the timely and accurate invoicing of customers across multiple sales channels. You will be an integral part of the Accounts Receivable team, maintaining positive relationships with our customers and streamlining the invoicing process. Accounts Receivable Responsibilities:

• Issue and post invoices accurately and on time, handling a high volume of transactions.
• Submit invoices via EDI and customer portals, ensuring correct posting in customer systems.
• Send invoices and payment reminders to customers promptly.
• Maintain customer master data, including resale certificates and tax rates.
• Issue credits for sales tax, freight, deductions, and returns as necessary.
• Process refunds for e-customers efficiently.
• Accurately post payments, ensuring correct matching of prepayments to customer orders.
• Collaborate closely with customer service to ensure order entry accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closings by ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately by deadlines.
• Respond promptly to customer and business unit requests, fostering positive customer relationships.

Accounts Receivable Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree in Accounting preferred; high school diploma required.
• Minimum of 2 years of prior work experience in a similar accounts receivable role, with a strong focus on high-volume billing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Visual is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Capable of handling confidential information with integrity.
