Forklift Operator - Palestine

Located in Palestine, TX

Salary: $14.50

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Qualified forklift operator to join a Local Palestine Company. 

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate motorized forklifts to transport materials, load/unload shipments, and manage inventory
• Perform manual tasks associated with material handling and logistics
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work areas; perform housekeeping and sanitation tasks as assigned
• Execute all required inventory transactions, including material usage and process tracking, both on paper and electronically
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on forklifts and report any larger maintenance needs
• Immediately report any issues related to safety, quality, technical concerns, or logistics to supervisors
• Follow Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Safety policies
• Manufacture, process, pack, or handle clean and safe food as required by assigned duties
• Participate actively in the development, review, and improvement of SOPs to enhance process efficiency
• Join multi-disciplinary teams or task forces as required for continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator (Forklift Certification preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
• Basic mechanical skills for performing minor repairs and preventive maintenance
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
• Effective communication skills to report issues promptly and participate in process improvements
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
