💼 Position: Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate  

🌍 Location: Foley, AL    

Hours: Monday – Friday

Pay: $16 - $20    

 

🔹 Responsibilities:

Delivery Driver Duties

1. Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle, ensuring all items are secured and organized for transport.
2. Route Planning: Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, considering traffic and weather conditions to ensure timely deliveries.
3. Delivering Packages: Deliver packages to customers’ homes or businesses, ensuring accurate and on-time service.
4. Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during delivery.
5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining signatures and noting delivery times.
6. Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks on the delivery vehicle, ensuring it is clean, fueled, and in good working order; report maintenance issues as needed.

Warehouse Associate Duties

7. Receiving Shipments: Assist in receiving, inspecting, and logging incoming shipments into inventory.
8. Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse, ensuring items are stored properly and easily accessible.
9. Picking and Packing: Pick and pack orders accurately, preparing them for delivery according to customer specifications.
10. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols in both the warehouse and during deliveries, ensuring a safe working environment.
11. Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, if certified and trained.
12. Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse and delivery team members to ensure efficient operations and communication.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience as a delivery driver and/or warehouse associate is a plus.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, familiarity with GPS and navigation tools, and good time management abilities.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Customer Service Orientation: Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers.
• Valid Driver’s License: A clean driving record and a valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle being driven.
• Medical DOT: Ability to pass a Medical DOT exam. Bonus points if you already have a Medical DOT Card!
