Agricultural General Operator

Located in Switz City, IN

Salary: $19.50 / hr - $21.50 / hr

We're seeking dependable, safety-focused individuals to help support critical seed processing and warehouse operations. Job Summary:

• Label, tag, bag and palletize seed
• Enter inventory information into computer
• Stage seed for shipment in warehouse
• Receive and process trucks hauling crop from the field for weighing and unloading
• Complete a wide range of harvest activities i.e. husk and sort operations
• Operate dryer to dry crop within the prescribed safety, quality, and financial requirements
• Shelling and storage of crop from bins in the dryer facility

Location: Worthington, IN

Position Type: Seasonal

Pay: $19.50/ hr to $21.50 / hr

Schedule: 6:30am-3:00pm | 2:30pm-11pm | 10:30pm-7:00am

Qualifications:

• Ability to be on your feet for the entirety of the shift
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work outside 
• Walk on uneven surfaces
• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with others on the team
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Must comply with quality standards
• Excellent communication skills and professionalism
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative environment
• Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations

Experience required:

• Forklift and agricultural experience preferred
