We are hiring for an Occupational Therapy Assistant!

 

Summary: 

 

The Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) will work under the direct supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide a variety of therapeutic interventions to patients of all ages. The OTA will assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques to improve patients' functional abilities and quality of life.

 

Responsibilities: 

• Assist the OT in conducting initial evaluations and ongoing assessments of patients' functional abilities
• Implement treatment plans as directed by the OT, including therapeutic activities, exercises, and modalities. 
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and in a timely manner. 
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment goals and home exercise programs. 

 

Qualifications: 

• Current OTA License 
• Bilingual (English and Spanish Required)
• Entry level position - no required prior experience.
