Plant Operator 

Express Employment on 61st and Center is recruiting for Plant Operators to join a manufacturing company in South Omaha. 

Position Details:
•    Type: Evaluation Hire
•    Schedule: Varying shifts
•    Location: Omaha, NE
•    Pay/Salary: Starting at $27

Job Duties:
•    Operate and monitor plant machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and safe production.
•    Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to detect and address any issues or malfunctions.
•    Adjust machine settings and control parameters to maintain product quality and production standards.
•    Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on plant equipment, including cleaning and minor repairs.
•    Follow established safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
•    Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment status, and any issues encountered during operations.
•    Collaborate with other team members and departments to optimize plant processes and resolve any operational challenges.
•    Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
•    Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
•    3-5 years of tenure at each of your jobs.
•    Previous experience as a Plant Operator or in a similar role is highly desirable.
•    Forklift experience is required.
•    Strong understanding of plant machinery and equipment, including operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
•    Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and production schedules.
•    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•    Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
•    Willingness to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, if required.
