Monday thru Friday – 6am to 2:30pm

$20 to $25hr depending on experience.

 

A leading manufacturer of precision investment castings and CNC machining services for the aerospace, medical, communications, defense, and commercial markets is seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to join their team in Chatsworth.

 

Summary: The CNC Mill Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC milling machines to produce precision parts. The ideal candidate will have experience in machine setup and the ability to debur parts to ensure quality standards are met.

 

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC milling machines to produce parts according to specifications.
• Set up and calibrate machines, including selecting and installing tooling, fixtures, and workpieces.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine production requirements.
• Monitor the machining process, making adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality.
• Debur parts post-machining to ensure smooth finishes and compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of finished products and maintain accurate records of production data.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is a plus.
• Previous experience as a CNC Mill Operator or similar role.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical documents.
• Knowledge of machine setup and tooling is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with deburring techniques and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
