Salary: 23 - 28/hour

The Specialized Recruiting Group of Express Employment Professionals in Ithaca is seeking skilled Accountants and Bookkeepers for multiple openings with our busy clients in the Ithaca/Cortland area. These roles will include multiple areas of accounting, including A/P, A/R, general ledger, inventory reconciliation, payroll processing, month-end closings, and more. We offer long-term and direct-hire roles with the potential for growth and competitive salaries!

Qualifications:

• 2 - 4 year degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks
• SAP experience is highly preferred for some roles
• Experience preparing and processing payroll
• Strong understanding of financial concepts and accounting processes
• 3 - 6 years of work experience in an accounting role preferred
