Microscope Assembler

Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM overtime as needed 

Pay Rate: $20-$25 per hour 

Responsibilities/Requirements:

• Perform manual micro welding operations (spot welding, fusing, brazing) on tiny components under a microscope.
• Use small hand and power tools to prepare components for assembly.
• Measure, cut, and handle tiny platinum wire (0.0005 mm to 0.016 mm diameter).
• Utilize measurement instruments like scales, calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Assemble and test components with electronic test instruments, including digital multimeters.
• Prepare ice baths and calibrate small components.
• Apply cement coatings, fluxes, and cleaning fluids, handling them carefully.
• Operate semi-automated winding and dipping equipment.
• Conduct assembly tasks under a microscope.
• Other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and follow simple to complex drawings and procedures.
• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent.
• Basic math skills for simple computations and record-keeping.
• Ability to sit or bend for extended periods and perform repetitive work under a microscope.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Effective team player.
