Express Employment Professionals is currently interviewing for a Plant Maintenance Technician position for a company in Hot Springs! The pay starts between $20-$21.00/hr and the schedule will be Monday - Friday from 6am - 4:30pm. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance on production equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operation.
2. Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with machinery and perform necessary repairs to minimize production downtime.
3. Equipment Repair: Repair or replace defective parts, components, or equipment as needed to maintain efficient operations.
4. Installation: Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment, including setup, calibration, and testing to ensure it meets production requirements.
5. Safety Compliance: Ensure all equipment and repairs comply with safety standards and regulations, and promote a safe working environment.
6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed, including parts used, repairs made, and preventative maintenance schedules.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with production staff and other maintenance personnel to prioritize maintenance tasks and ensure timely completion.
8. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performance and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
9. Technical Support: Provide technical support and training to operators and other personnel as needed to ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment.
10. The selected candidate will also assist with production. Expect roughly a schedule with 70%  maintenance, and 30% production assistance.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems; ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Forklift experience.
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in confined spaces or heights as required.
• Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
