Our client in Des Moines, IA is looking for Furniture Installers!

Position Summary:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking motivated Furniture Installers for temp-to-hire opportunities with a reputable company in the Des Moines area. This role involves delivering, assembling, and installing office furniture while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable with physical work.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lift, carry, and move furniture and materials
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Assemble and install office furniture using hand and power tools
• Work directly with clients during installations to ensure satisfaction
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Qualifications:
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for 8-hour shifts
• Ability to lift 65+ lbs regularly
• Clean, valid driver’s license required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Previous furniture installation experience preferred
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Flexibility with scheduling, including occasional weekends (scheduled in advance)

Hours:
Full-time; start and end times may vary based on installation schedules

Pay:
$18.00–$22.00/hour DOE
