Job Description

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of floors, walls, windows, and other surfaces.
Collect and dispose of waste and recyclables according to guidelines.
Clean and restock restrooms with necessary supplies.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors; operate floor buffers and other equipment as needed.
Ensure that cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored.
Follow safety procedures and protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and report shortages.
Clean up spills and other accidents promptly and safely.
Follow all guidelines for infection control and facility cleanliness.
Report maintenance issues or repairs needed to the appropriate personnel.
Address any concerns or special requests from staff or visitors professionally.
Stay updated on training and compliance requirements related to cleaning and safety procedures.

Job Requirements

Ability to lift, carry, and move items, and perform repetitive tasks.
Strong focus on thorough and accurate cleaning.
Familiarity with cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
Ability to follow instructions and interact effectively with staff and visitors.
Understanding and adherence to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Willingness to work various shifts or respond to urgent cleaning needs.
