Job Title: Overnight Residential Counselor (Temp-to-Hire)

Location: SE Portland, OR

Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM (5 days per week, schedule may include weekends)

Pay Rate: $20.95 per hour

Join our dedicated team as an Overnight Residential Counselor at our SE Portland drug and alcohol treatment center. This role is essential in providing a safe and supportive environment for our residents during overnight hours.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor a gender-specific floor, ensuring residents'' safety and compliance with house rules.
- Conduct hourly census checks by walking the floor and confirming all residents are in their rooms.
- Complete various administrative tasks and paperwork related to resident monitoring and center operations.
- Support a calm and structured environment to promote recovery and well-being.

 

Qualifications:

- Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Comfortable working on a gender-specific floor (male or female), with placement based on preference.
- Prior experience in a similar setting is a plus but not required.
