Express Employment Professionals of Ithaca is seeking staff to assist with student move-ins on the college campuses in August.  These positions will vary in nature but primarily will assist students and their families with directions, moving luggage from one point to another, moving carts, taking direction from leads, and providing friendly customer service.  Ideal candidates will have experience in customer-facing roles, with an ability to lift, walk, stand, stoop, bend and give accurate directions.  This position primarily works outdoors.  Short-term opening. Job Duties:

• Guide students to the proper location upon arrival
• Provide accurate instructions for students and families on where to park, drive, unload 
• Assist with luggage as needed
• Respond to requests from leads on other areas needing assistance 
• Coordinate with team for smooth daily operations

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years in a client-facing or sales role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work outdoors, lifting, standing, stooping and providing support to arriving students - lift up to 30 - 40 lbs
