Production Scheduler

Located in Lakeville, MN

Salary: $22/hr

Job Posting: Production Scheduler

Daily Responsibilities:

• Schedule customer orders and create production schedules that meet customer due dates and shipment forecasts

• Ensure smooth workflow through the shop by coordinating with Production Supervisor and Shift Leads

• Maintain up-to-date order and manufacturing dates in current reports

• Alert Production Supervisor promptly if due dates can’t be met or schedules need adjustment, explaining the reasons

• Monitor jobs closely to identify potential delays early and allow time for corrective action

• Collaborate with Production Supervisor and Inventory Control to requisition necessary parts and materials

• Develop supply schedules that balance customer demand with inventory levels and resource use

• Negotiate and resolve conflicts related to material availability and scheduling priorities

• Suggest and implement improvements to scheduling processes

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree with 3+ years experience OR 5+ years relevant experience

• 3+ years in supply chain or operations management

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong attention to detail

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
