A  local lumber yard in the Donalds area is seeking a dependable and hardworking Forklift Operator to join their team full-time. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying active, and being part of a strong team environment.

Position Overview:

The Forklift Operator will play a key role in daily yard operations by safely moving materials, loading customer vehicles, organizing inventory, and assisting with various general labor tasks as needed. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a forklift to move lumber, materials, and products throughout the yard
• Load and unload delivery trucks and customer vehicles
• Pull and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas
• Assist with stocking materials and keeping the yard clean and orderly
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and company guidelines
• Perform general labor duties and other tasks assigned by management
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions

Qualifications:

• Previous forklift experience preferred
• Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Dependable attendance and positive work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Outdoor work experience is a plus

Pay:

$15 - $18 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule:

Monday – Friday
7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
