Salary: $18/hr

Job Description: The Painter will be responsible for applying paint, varnishes, and other finishes to various surfaces of buildings, residential properties, and commercial facilities. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent manual dexterity, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, and other means.
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
• Mix and match paints and finishes to achieve desired colors and effects.
• Remove old paint or finishes using stripping tools, heat guns, or chemicals.
• Repair holes, cracks, and other imperfections on surfaces.
• Install and repair drywall as necessary.
• Select and purchase appropriate paint and materials.
• Ensure all work is performed in a timely and professional manner.
• Protect surrounding areas and furniture during the painting process.
• Clean up work areas and maintain tools and equipment.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

·  High school diploma or equivalent.

·  Proven experience as a painter, with a portfolio of completed projects.

·  Knowledge of painting techniques and materials.

·  Proficient in using paint application tools such as brushes, rollers, and sprayers.

·  Ability to mix paint to achieve specific colors and finishes.

·  Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with precision.

·  Good physical condition and stamina to perform tasks involving standing, climbing, and lifting.

·  Excellent time management and organizational skills.

·  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·  Valid driver's license

 

Pay Rate: $20/hr

Schedule: Mon-Fri (some overtime required)
