Job Responsibilities – Warehouse Packer
As a Warehouse Packer, you will play a key role in the shipping and distribution process. Duties include:
- Consolidate orders using pick slip numbers and type of shipment
- Label parts, count, and pack products into boxes
- Label boxes with quantity and total order information
- Document items and quantities per pallet
- Wrap, label, and stage pallets for shipping
- Use electric pallet jacks to transport completed pallets
- Troubleshoot and fix packing or shipping errors
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for the entire shift
- Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling
- Comfortable with repetitive motion and working in various temperature conditions
- Use of motorized and manual pallet jacks
- Strong attention to detail and proven good attendance record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
