Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to support financial operations for a local business. Key Responsibilities

• Process invoices by verifying transaction details and preparing payments
• Record and track incoming revenue, including invoices and refunds
• Collect outstanding balances and follow up on delinquent accounts
• Prepare financial reports by analyzing and summarizing account data
• Maintain and update accounting ledgers
• Reconcile statements and verify account accuracy
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies or account issues
• Maintain financial security by following internal controls and procedures
• Back up financial data and maintain organized records
• Support additional accounting tasks and team initiatives as needed

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
• Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Solid math and analytical skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
