Shipping Associate / Forklift Operator – Manufacturing

Location: Springfield, OH
Pay: $17.00/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift – 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Job Overview

We are hiring a reliable Shipping Associate / Forklift Operator for a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory verification, and material movement, supporting daily operations with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using a forklift
• Receive, inspect, and verify all inbound and outbound shipments (UPS, FedEx, etc.)
• Ensure accuracy of shipping paperwork and system entries
• Deliver materials to work centers to support production
• Enter and track data using Microsoft Office and SAP systems
• Maintain organized shipping/receiving areas
• Provide timely support to internal departments
• Follow direction from supervisors and management

Requirements

• Prior forklift experience required
• Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP (or similar ERP systems)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills
