Production Blender

Located in Savage, MN

Salary: Up to $20/hr DOE

Daily Responsibilities:

• Follow all procedures and guidelines while manufacturing products to the highest quality standards
• Check all blends, tanks and auxiliary equipment to assure they are cleaned properly and operating correctly
• Assist in cleaning all recyclable containers and making sure that the production area and overall plant are kept clean
• Assist in unloading of raw materials and other freight that is delivered from vendors
• Responsible for taking every safety precaution when manufacturing chemicals or handling hazardous materials
• Make sure all effluent leaving the plant is properly treated before discharge
• Assist in performing general preventative maintenance on equipment
• Apply all necessary labels and stenciling to appropriate packages and containers
• Proficient skills to operate pallet jacks and forklifts
• Follow Good Manufacturing Processes at all times
• Assist in taking physical inventory when necessary
• Responsible for Continuous Improvement in all aspects of production
• May be required to occasionally work evening and weekend hours as needed to ensure proper completion of duties
• Infrequent travel may be required including overnight trips by car or airplane for customer or vendor visits
• All other duties as assigned

Skills Required:

• High school graduate preferred
• Passionate about organization, communication, and partnership
• Microsoft Office experience required; project management software experience a plus
• Flexible and a good communicator, willing to be a team-player
• Reliable

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• One year of production experience or similar
• Two to three years of work experience
• Knowledge of safe work practices
• Possess basic math skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
