Production Supervisor 2nd shift 4:30 pm-2:30 am

Express is looking to fill 2nd shift Production Supervisor position. Qualifies candidate will supervise employees in a manufacturing environment: Plan and assign work, while implementing policies and procedures. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

-Responsible for production, material handling, material being manufactured, shipment of finished goods and safety of employees.

 

-Assign employees to specific jobs.

 

-Influence employee morale.

 

-Evaluate production-scheduling with the scheduler to improve cost and quality.

 

-Improve working conditions (safety, Quality productivity, and cost) and increase subordinates'' skills and capabilities.

 

-Distribute production reports.

 

-Inspect machines, floor areas, and forklifts to insure safe operation.

 

-Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

 

-High School diploma or equivalent required

 

-5+ years of experience working as a Supervisor in Manufacturing

 

-Flexible schedule and willingness to work 2nd shift preferred

 

-Capable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manuals.
