Salary: $30-$40/hr DOE

We are seeking a CNC Setup Machinist for a manufacturing company in Hudson, MA. The primary responsibilities involve setting up CNC machines, creating and modifying programs, precision machining, measuring parts, deburring, and handling in-process documentation. This is a Direct Hire position.

 

Responsibilities:

• Set up CNC machines (mainly Haas Milling) to produce precision aluminum parts according to specifications and work orders.
• Create and modify CNC programs to ensure efficient and accurate production – willing to train!
• Operate CNC machines to execute production tasks.
• Inspect parts during and after machining to ensure they meet the required specifications and high-precision tolerances using inspection tools.
• Perform deburring operations to ensure parts meet quality standards.
• Accurately complete and maintain in-process documentation to track production progress and quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.

Requirements:

• At least 3-5 years of CNC machine setup experience required
• Previous milling experience required
• Proficiency in using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges required
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds required
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders strongly preferred
